Over the Christmas break, I had a little bit more time to knit than usual. After finishing up some smaller projects, I cast on for my first full-sized sweater. I’m knitting the Que Sera cardigan by Kirsten Kapur, from the Spring/ Summer 2010 Knitty. So far I’ve been loving the pattern and I can’t wait to see it finished.

I’m happy with how quickly it seems to be coming together, I have finished the body and one of the sleeves. As soon as I finish the second sleeve, I can block all of the pieces and sew them together.

I’m using an acrylic in a raspberry red. I don’t know any other details because it came in a large, unmarked bag (I’m thinking it was probably mill ends).
