From the pattern description:
Fresh Bonnet is designed to fit newborn babies for the first few months of their lives, with a larger size for babies aged 3-6 months. It is a light and airy bonnet knit in DK weight yarn, light enough to wear out in the sun but just warm enough for those chilly air-conditioned stores and restaurants. This is a very quick knit and can easily be completed in an evening, making it a perfect last-minute shower gift. The bonnet is worked in one piece by picking up stitches, and thus requires no seaming.
If you make a bonnet using this pattern, I’d love to see it! You can add your photos to a project linked to the pattern page on Ravelry, or you can e-mail them to me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Aside from this pattern, I’ve also been working on my Angee Socks and some cute little hats for a local hospital’s charity program. I was also just visiting Toronto for a bit and I just had to stop at one of the fantastic LYSs in the city while I was there. I bought some sock yarn and some Corriedale roving at Romni Wools. I’ll have some photos up from the trip in a few days.
