Knitting :: My Spring Boneyard Shawl. I loved this pattern the first time I made it, and this version is meant to be a lighter springtime version. I’m using Diamond Luxury Collection Pima Lino Lace, which is a lovely cotton and linen blend. The colourways are Nile and Light Denim. I’ve been following the pattern as written except I’m switching colours every 2.5″ or so. I love how this is turning out, I can’t wait to finish it and wear it! The rows are getting pretty long, though, so I imagine it’ll be awhile. (Rav link).

Reading :: The Time Traveler’s Wife by Audrey Niffenegger (yes, still!). It’s a great book but this isn’t my copy, so I’ve just been reading it at home rather than carrying it with me, so it’s taking awhile to get through.
Dubliners by James Joyce. This is a book of short stories set in Dublin (as the title suggests!) in the early twentieth century. This collection gets referenced a lot in a Canadian literature course I’m taking, so I thought I might as well read it. It’s really interesting so far- the stories are all about typical working-class people going about their daily lives.

You can see more of what I’m knitting and reading throughout the week on Ravelry and Goodreads.

I hope you are all having an amazing week!

I’ll be linking up (late!) with KCCO and Yarn-Along.

  1. Love the yarn you’re using for your shawl, similarly I’m making a lighter version in lace weight yarn for my second color affection shawl.
