Lion Brand Sock in "Circus peanut"

This week, I’m…

Knitting :: Exam socks… with the start of finals this week, I knew I was going to need a simple project for any stress knitting emergencies. These are just basic toe-up socks in Lion Brand Yarn Sock-Ease (colourway 133 “circus peanut”). I love how bright these are going to be… perfectly cheery for spring! I’ve just started the second sock so I hope to finish these this week. I’m sure there are lots of toe-up sock recipes out there, but I could share mine sometime if there is any interest.

Reading :: The no. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency by Alexander McCall Smith. I started this forever ago but never finished it… I had forgotten how good it is! I really enjoy his writing style.

I’m also reading House Girl by Tara Conklin on my kindle. As I mentioned on Saturday, I’m loving this book. I really like the two storylines and the characters are great. I can’t wait for exams to be over so I can get into it properly.

Watching :: Season 1 of Elementary (still really enjoying this!) and looking forward to watching The Great British Sewing Bee season finale tonight! (It’s already aired in Britain but I’m going to wait for it to be up online to watch).

Let me know in the comments what you’re knitting, reading, and watching! Have a lovely day.

Linking up with KCCO and Yarn-Along as usual.

  2. I love the color of your socks! They will be great for spring. I’m knitting WIPs of all sorts, reading Edgar Allen Poe when I get a chance (there aren’t many), and watching a little bit of everything, but most importantly trying to keep up with The Following and catch up with Parenthood.

    • Thanks Ness!
It’s been forever since I’ve read any Poe but I’ve loved all of his stories that I’ve read. He’s a genius at the creepy and macabre.
      Happy knitting 🙂
