Christmas Mittens.

If you haven’t already seen the name change announcement and updated your subscriptions, please see yesterday’s post here.

Now that Christmas has come and gone, I can finally share some of the secret knitting I’ve been doing over the past few months! First up are these simple mittens for my brother, striped using yarn leftover from a few other projects. The brown is Patons Decor (leftover from Ease and Graham), the Grey is Craftsmart Solids (leftover from Wurm and Honey Cowl), and the mottled beige is Patons Shetland Ragg KW, which has been in my stash for forever.

Did you knit any gifts this Christmas?

Linking up with KCCO.

  1. What lovely mittens…and all stash yarn? You just have to love when that happens.
Hopping over from KCCO. Thanks for sharing.

  2. I want some of those! Can’t wait to see what else you made Kylie. I just finished a late xmas Ambrosia cardigan for my 10 year old. The only others I was able to get off the needles in time was a scarf, a teeny sweater for a doll and yep that’s it.

    • What a great use of stash and a fabulous combination!

  3. Love the mittens! I didn’t do much knitting at all for Christmas this year. Just one little doll for my newest little one. However, with the cold days of January upon us, I need to start knitting some warm things! Mittens should definitely be on my list!

  4. What lovely and cozy-looking mittens. Love the colours and stripes!

  5. Lovely mittens, and how convenient you could use up some stash yarn for them! I’ve only knit two small Christmas presents, a hat and some knitted toys.

  6. gorgeous striped mittens! and look at all the snow for the photos 🙂 Lovely!
