Under the Weather.

I’ve been feeling a bit under the weather the past few days… I’ve been drinking lots of tea and resting in hopes of warding off whatever bug is going around.

Fortunately, this means lots of time to work on the little details for Agrestal (details here, if you missed them) that are making everything come together, like the beautiful yarn tags pictured above, which I picked up the other day. There are some more photos in today’s post on the Agrestal blog. I’ll also add a gentle reminder that the sale (code “agrestallaunch” for 10% off) and the giveaway both close at the end of the day on Friday, so get your purchases and entries in before then!

It’s also meant time for knitting, so I’ve made quite a bit of progress on my socks! I just cast off the first one yesterday evening and I’m almost through the toe on the second. While I knit, I’ve been watching Warehouse 13 on Netflix. It’s science fiction, so I didn’t expect to like it very much, but the storylines are pretty compelling and the characters are great! As for reading, I’m still working on Where’d You Go, Bernadette. I’m about halfway through and still enjoying it, although I hope the plot picks up a bit soon.

What are you knitting right now?

Thank you so much for your kind words! Have a lovely day πŸ™‚

  2. Jo Jo

Hello! What brand of yarn is the sock yarn you show in the photo second from the bottom? It looks so wonderful!

  3. Jo Jo

I apologize! I found info about the sock yarn in an earlier post of yours. πŸ™‚

Hi Jo! No worries, I usually mention it in the post itself but i must just have slipped my mind today! Glad you were able to find it.

  4. Gorgeous socks, I’m sorry you are feeling unwell, hope it will pass quickly. At least there is time for knitting!

  5. Jo Jo

I’m truly in love with the beige/black/white/red striped sock yarn… I found that it’s about $32 per skein! Is it worth that, in your opinion? (It’s Turtlepurl Yarn, right?)
    Thanks, Jo
P.S. – Did I mention that I’ve included a link to your site on my blog:
I’m impressed with your blog – and all that you’re doing.

  6. Rest, tea, and knitting are totally the medicines I reach for too, when I’m not feeling well. I hope you are feeling back to normal soon! The new labels look great, and I’ve heard wonderful things about Where’d You Go, Bernadette. I just finished reading Wild by Cheryl Strayed and was utterly blown away- if you haven’t read it yet, i recommend.

I just finished Where’d You Go, Bernadette- it was a perfect summer read. Really good.
And I read Strayed sometime last summer and loved it- definitely one of my favourite books of last year!
