I recently had the opportunity to test knit this lovely hat by Irina Anikeeva, and I’m so pleased that I agreed to do it! I am so happy with how this hat turned out, and it’s the best fitting slouchy hat I’ve ever made. Because my hair is pretty straight, I find that slouchy hats tend to slide off, but the brim on this one is tight enough to keep that from happening. The pattern is now available on Ravelry, and I believe the designer is having a release sale if you are interested in purchasing the pattern.

I used Spud and Chloe Fine in “sidewalk” and I love the drape of the wool / silk blend. (Long-time readers might remember me buying this yarn at Purl Soho in NYC over three years ago on a trip with my dad!)

Big thanks to my friend Hermonie for taking these pictures for me!

What have you been knitting this week?
