I’ve just released a new pattern, Plumule Shawl earlier this week! It’s is a small, light shawl knit in a 50g skein of Agrestal Bow River Lace or your favourite laceweight yarn. I love this shawl for the summer – I’m hoping a formal occasion will arise soon so I can wear it with a summery dress. More details from the pattern page:

Plumule is a small, light, and airy shawl with a simple body and delicate lace edging. The shawl is knit from the top down on large needles and blocked to produce a fabric with a lovely drape. Plumule makes the perfect accessory to dress up a casual outfit, or looks wonderful with a formal outfit for a summer wedding.

The finished shawl is semi-circular with a wingspan of approximately 47”.

The sample is shown in Agrestal Yarn Bow River Lace in the colourway “Petal”.

The promotion is almost finished, but you can get 50% off the pattern price until the end of the day today (Friday) using the code “plumule”. I am also going to be hosting a KAL, complete with prizes! All of the details will be announced Monday on Ravelry and on my yarn instagram (@agrestalyarn).

If you’d like more details or to purchase the pattern, you can visit the pattern page on Ravelry. Thank you – I hope you enjoy knitting Plumule as much as I did!

It’s gorgeous! I’ve never knitted with lace weight yarn. Maybe this is the perfect project to try!

Thanks Ine! I have been in love with laceweight lately – it produces such an airy fabric that’s perfect for summer!
