Best of LPOAS 2014: Part 3 (September, October, November, December)

Every year, I share a few of my favourite moments, projects, and events from the past year. This year I’m sharing them in three parts, one yesterday and the day before, and one today. Happy New Year!

Highlights:
Finished my camping socks, a little blueberry sweater, a Graham Hat for L, and some dishcloths for my grandmother.
Worked on my October Socks and another little sweater.
Visited G’s cottage.
Moved to a new apartment with a lovely backyard.
Went home for Thanksgiving and had an amazing waffle brunch.
Noticed the leaves change as fall arrived.
Baked our Christmas cake.
Shared (very late) photos from our August camping trip.
Visited G and had brunch at a lovely cafe.
Saw the first signs of winter in late November.
Took photos and made a video of our first major snowfall.

Highlights:
Finished my Itaka Cardigan,
Worked on my Itaka cardigan, more on my Boneyard Shawl, Hitofude Cardigan,
Celebrated G’s birthday by going out for tea.
Sewed a scarf for Tilly’s book launch, another project bag, and a pair of PJ shorts.
Finally saw spring arrive.
Shared recipes for Easy Cornbread and canned garlic dill pickles.
Enjoyed the late light of spring evenings.
Made progress on my chevron quilt.
Watched everything sprout in the garden.
Enjoyed the sunset and time in the backyard.
Picked strawberries to make jam and pie.
Went to Artfest 2014.
Went camping at Presqu’ile.
Dried, canned, and preserved as much as I could, especially peaches and cherries.
Celebrated my twentieth birthday.

Every year, I share a few of my favourite moments, projects, and events from the past year. This year I’m sharing them in three parts, one today, one tomorrow, and one on Wednesday. Happy New Year!

Highlights:

Finished Minecraft Creeper Hat and Mittens, Vanilla Latte Socks, Plain Vanilla Socks, H’s Birthday Socks, and my Exam Socks.
Worked on my Boneyard Shawl (for a few months), a pair of socks during exams, and an Itaka Cardigan for my sister.
Shared recipes for hummus and vanilla simple syrup (for coffee and tea).
Participated in the Ravellenic Games, finishing my Cabled Canuck.
Spent reading week visiting my parents (and took lots of pictures!).
Sewed a new project bag.
Met C for tea on a rainy day.
Made an egg-dyeing tutorial for Easter.
Moved back home to my parents’ for the summer.
Participated in Heather’s new cooking link-up.
Got back into the garden to tidy up for spring.
